5 Unique (And Awesome) Showers

Posted on

If you are thinking of remodeling your bathroom, maybe now is the time to install a new and unique shower. There are many options when it comes to showers, and with this list you can find some ideas to make your daily shower an experience instead of a routine.

1.Rain Shower

Rain showers are a modern take on a classic shower that reaches back to nature for inspiration. A rain style shower head is wider than a regular shower head and is mounted from the ceiling. The overall effect is that you are standing outside in a gentle rainfall instead of standing in your shower. Rain shower heads are often mounted in pairs to increase the area they cover and the water flow. Rain showers look great with natural stone walls.

2. Waterfall Shower

Much like a rain shower, a waterfall shower is a shout-out to nature. A waterfall shower is a stream of water that juts out from the wall like a waterfall. It is the perfect choice if you want a bathroom that feels natural and luxurious at the same time. Add to the illusion of an outdoor shower with a pebble tiled floor and natural light.

3. Body Jets Shower

A shower with body jets shoots water from wall mounted horizontal spraying jets. With body jets, you can get a massage every time you step in your shower. Body jet showers are inspired by spas and jetted tubs and offer the same relaxing touch. They are perfect in an opulent bathroom with French style details, like crown molding.

4. Shower Bed

A shower bed shower is based on a Vichy shower that many spas use to relax muscles. A shower bed has a slab of stone where you lie or sit and several shower heads mounted above the bed of stone that allow your whole body to feel the calming effects of the shower as you lie down and relax. These showers are awesome in ultra-modern bathrooms.

5. Steam Shower

A steam shower includes a steamer, much like a steam room in a spa. Steam can clear your airways and soften tensed muscles. It is also thought to open pores and even lower blood pressure. You can have the benefits of a steam room in your own home with a steam shower. Steam showers are usually enclosed to trap the steam that is created by a steam generator. Steam showers look great in warm, spa styled, bathrooms.
